We have replaced the "Engage" button on LinkedIn Feed and the "Save" button on LinkedIn profiles.

To generate comments: Right-click on any post and from the options select "Generate comments for this post" (as shown below).

To save prospects: When you're on someone's profile and want to save them as a prospect in LiGo, you can do that by right-clicking and then selecting "Save to LiGo's CRM" (as shown below).

Note: If you're using other tools for LinkedIn, read till the end. You'll find value in it, I promise.

How to Use the New Right-Click Features

Generating Comments on Posts

Instead of clicking an "Engage" button directly on LinkedIn posts, you can now:

  1. Right-click on any LinkedIn post
  2. Select "Generate comments for this post" from the context menu
  3. Generate and review your AI-powered comments as usual

  1. Navigate to any LinkedIn profile
  2. Right-click anywhere on the profile page
  3. Select "Save to LiGo's CRM" from the context menu
  4. The prospect will be saved to your LiGo CRM for follow-up

These new methods maintain the same powerful functionality while ensuring full compliance with LinkedIn's platform guidelines.

Why We Made This Update

Compliance with LinkedIn's Terms of Service has always been our top priority. We're committed to ensuring our users' accounts remain completely protected and in good standing with the platform.

After careful review, we realized that adding buttons directly to LinkedIn's interface could potentially fall into a compliance gray area. To maintain absolute certainty that we're operating within LinkedIn's guidelines, we've moved to the right-click approach.

This change also reinforces our core philosophy around content quality. Rather than automating the entire process (which would constitute bot-like behavior), we maintain a "human-in-the-loop" approach. This means you always review, approve, and manually post your content, ensuring that:

  • Your LinkedIn activity remains authentic and compliant
  • Content quality stays high across the platform
  • You maintain full control over what gets published under your name

This approach benefits not just our users, but the entire LinkedIn community by preserving the platform's integrity and quality standards.

Our Commitment to Compliance

At LiGo, we prioritize:

  • Account Protection: Keeping your LinkedIn account safe from any potential violations
  • Platform Integrity: Respecting LinkedIn's ecosystem and community guidelines
  • Quality Control: Ensuring you review and approve all content before posting
  • Transparency: Being clear about our compliance measures and why we implement them

Recommendation for Other LinkedIn Tools

If you're using any other tools that add buttons or information to LinkedIn's UI, I would suggest not using them unless they're mission critical.

Tools that modify LinkedIn's interface directly can potentially:

  • Put your account at risk
  • Violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • Lead to account restrictions or suspensions

We recommend sticking with tools that operate within the platform's guidelines and prioritize your account safety above convenience features.
