Accessing the Post Generator

You can access the Post Generator in two ways:

Within the LiGo App

In-app Repurpose Content

  1. Log in to your LiGo account
  2. From the left sidebar, navigate to the "LinkedIn Tools" section
  3. Select the "Repurpose Content" option

External Post Rewriter Tool

External Post Rewriter

LiGo also offers a simplified external Post Rewriter tool on our website that can be used without logging in. However, this guide focuses on the more powerful in-app Post Generator that provides additional options and better customization.

Note: The in-app Post Generator uses your LinkedIn profile information and content themes to create more personalized outputs compared to the external tool.


Using the Post Generator

The Post Generator follows a simple step-by-step process:

Repurpose Content Menu

Step 1: Select Content Type

From all of the options that are displayed, choose what type of content it is that you want to convert to a LinkedIn post. The availanle content types are visible in the image above.

Note: Selecting the correct content type helps the tool preserve the most important elements when converting to LinkedIn format.

Step 2: Input Your Content

Repurpose Content Menu

  1. After selecting your desired content type, you will be prompted to enter the content
  2. You can input upto 10k characters

Pro Tip: You can input content of any length-the tool will extract the key points and transform them into LinkedIn-friendly format.


Using Voice Input

For a hands-free content creation experience:

  1. Select the "Voice Input" option
  2. In the Voice Input modal that appears, click "Start Recording"
  3. Speak clearly to record your content
  4. When finished, the system will transcribe your speech
  5. Review the transcription and click "Use Transcription" to proceed

Alternative: Click "Upload Audio" to convert an existing audio file to text.

Pro Tip: Voice input is perfect for capturing natural language and tone. Many users find speaking their ideas results in more conversational content than typing.


Generating Post Variations

After inputting your content:

  1. Click the "Generate Posts" button
  2. The system will process your content and create multiple variations
  3. These variations will appear as selectable "angles" in the next step

Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Angle

After processing, you'll see a selection of different approaches to your content:

  1. Review the 3 different angles presented (typically labeled Angle 1, Angle 2, Angle 3)
  2. Each angle offers a different hook, tone, or structure for the same content
  3. Click on the angle that best matches your preferred approach
  4. The selected angle will be marked as "Selected"

  • Professional/authoritative
  • Story-based/personal
  • Question/challenging
  • Data-driven/analytical

For example, the same content about LinkedIn strategy might be presented as:

  • A thought-provoking question ("Think your LinkedIn strategy is data-driven?")

Reviewing Generated Posts

After selecting your preferred angle:

  1. The complete post appears in the "Generated Post" panel on the right
  2. Review the content for accuracy and tone
  3. You can see how the post will appear on LinkedIn, including your profile picture and name

Customizing and Publishing

Once your post is generated:

  1. Use the editing tools to make any necessary adjustments
  2. Click "Generate Again" if you want to create different variations
  3. When satisfied, you can:
    • Publish directly to LinkedIn
    • Schedule for later posting
    • Save to your drafts
